Our Origin Story

Legacy was formed back in 2015 with the goal of forming into a Party band that will cover songs from the 70's,80's, 90's 2000's and current Rock, Alternative Rock and Pop. Keeping the music alive that we all grew up with as well as listen to today. We put a lot of energy out to get our audience energized and rockin with us to a bunch of great tunes. Over the years faces have changed a bit but the music and energy remains constant.

Chris (Vocals and Lead Guitar)

Chris Woods (Vocals and Lead Guitar) – Chris grew up in the town of West Seneca. He started with music at an early age, learning classical piano and started playing guitar and bass guitar in his teens. The garage rock bands in his teenage years were influenced by REO Speedwagon, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, Neil Young, Bad Company, and The Eagles. His dedication to LEGACY and his commitment to keeping it a band that will deliver a variety of great Classic Rock, Alternative Rock, Blues, and a little Country to ensure every patron will enjoy the set list and have some good music to groove to.

Angie (Lead Vocals)

Angie found her passion for music early in life when she started singing at the young age of 3. Her early influences spanned a wide variety of vocalists from Celine Dion to Pink to Bonnie Tyler. Angie has been performing professionally for 7+ years. While her love for singing blossomed through many years of performing in choirs, musical theatre productions, and various a cappella groups, rock has always had a special place in her repertoire. Angie is thrilled to be performing again and cannot wait to get people up dancing, smiling, and singing with LEGACY!
